I have wanted to make a rug from one of my artworks for a long time, and I finally figured out a technique I like, punch needle. This rug is about 28 x 38 made from wool and merino. It was a fascinating process for me to think about color in solid shapes as opposed to blending paint or ink. Already underway on rug #2!

A visual language of ‘landscape’ is one that we share: horizon, tree, water, sky. As a perceptual artist I translate what I observe into a personal dialect and use this language to evoke more than a landscape in my atmospheric work. Follow me on Instagram and Facebook.
